The Ensemble Experience That Students Want!
Studio Rock is designed to make instrument playing fun and easy! Students get to play guitar, piano, bass or drums in the social setting of a rock band, a unique setting that creates community and emphasizes teamwork. They gain invaluable experience learning music theory concepts through chord charts and basic note reading, and also explore the foundations of improvisation and songwriting.
The curriculum provides rock instrumentals written specifically for mixed-level groups, allowing students to gain confidence and enjoy the thrill of playing in a real band! Some instrumental experience is recommended prior to the first class. Contact the studio for more information.
